Vibrant magentas, hot pinks, crimson reds and deep indigo blues come together in a richly layered floral composition, where recognisable blooms emerge alongside loose, fragmented forms and playful marks. The large central flower commands attention, surrounded by smaller blossoms that seem to tumble and grow organically across the canvas.
The soft lavender and pale blue background creates a sense of light and breathing space, while the deeper colours beneath the flowers add contrast, depth and drama.
Rather than attempting to faithfully represent a garden, this painting captures the feeling of being surrounded by flowers — their energy, abundance and unapologetic colour.
