Vibrant Color Abstract: Textured Acrylic Artwork in Soft Pink & Lavender

A softness breaks open beneath the surface. In Tender Rupture, tenderness and turmoil meet in the same breath, occupying the fragile space between vulnerability and strength. Old wounds linger, emotions collide, and yet, within the fracture, the possibility of healing quietly begins to emerge.

Layers of soft pinks, blush and lavender sweep across the canvas, interrupted by deeper crimson, rich burgundy and of vibrant colour. Bold, expressive brushstrokes sit alongside softer, almost fragile passages, creating a sense of tension between what we reveal and what we keep hidden. The contrasting marks reflect the complexity of human emotions, where love, loss, resilience and hope are often intertwined.

For me, this painting speaks to the beauty of being imperfect and the courage it takes to remain open-hearted, even when life leaves its mark. There is a certain freedom in allowing the raw and the beautiful to coexist, finding moments of softness amid the chaos.

Tender Rupture is an invitation to embrace our vulnerability and recognise that sometimes, it is through our cracks that the light finds its way in.
